In Teachings and Commandments 82 the Lord condemned “the children of Zion, even all.” Note the Lord didn’t limit His condemnation to the weakest of saints. Children of Zion are presumed to be the pinnacle of righteousness at the time of this revelation. Those inhabiting Zion must be “of one heart, one mind, dwelt in righteousness, and there was no poor among them.” [1] The closest to qualifying as “children of Zion” fell short of the Lord’s standard and were condemned by Him.

In the previous paper it was noted the reason for the Gentile rejection of the Gospel fullness is because of precepts of men. Pointing out those precepts could be a sole subject for a paper. This paper points to one glaring example directly relating to this content

The last paper posted on this website explains why the Gentiles approach to the last days should be with a degree of humility. The metaphor of two ships passing in opposing directions describes the covenant transition from the Gentiles to Israel. This is the final transition before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Israel remains in its scattered state throughout Gentile nations until the Gentiles reject the offer of covenant from the Lord because of the precepts of men. [1]

Many reading this blog are from the United States. Others are from Asia, Europe, and far reaches of the Earth. Scattered throughout these nations are remnants of Israel. They dwell among Gentile nations. Gentile nations and Israel’s remnant are two ships passing in the prophetic night in opposing directions. The Gentiles enjoy extraordinary prosperity and power throughout the world. They squandered and mocked God’s offer of covenant from Joseph Smith’s day and now.
